release had her escaping (possibly) but haunted by the death of Juno. The original Descent ending essentially had the Sarah character trapped in the cave and facing death. I was content with how it ended and to never see the characters again…and then The Descent: Part 2 was released. Despite some issues with pacing and character development, the movie was a strong and original horror film.
